Where We Came From
Started local. Stayed local.
Original Asphalt was built on one stubborn idea. If you put good people in front of a job and give them the time to do it properly, the work speaks for itself and the customers come back. So that's how we run things, from a one-day driveway patch to a full retail anchor lot.
We grew up working pavement in Florida. Sandy subgrades, surprise afternoon rain, summers that bake the surface for months on end. Those aren't problems we read about in a manual. They're the reason we pick the mixes we pick, build bases the way we build them, and won't let a job get poured without the right grade for runoff.
